What collectors call “cave popcorn” or “coralloids” isn’t actually calcite, but a close relative called aragonite .Found in caves, mines, and damp, limestone-rich areas, aragonite forms fascinating shapes like stalactites and stalagmites. Look for its clustered, grape-like formations (botryoidal) or feathery structures (floss ferri). It grounds us, enhances patience, and encourages us to take responsibility for ourselves and for the Earth.
