Indonesia is an amazing country that has lots to offer. It is the fourth largest populated country of the world!
The country is one big archipel that exist out of thousands of islands. Therefore it is hard to briefly describe what Indonesia is like with all its variety of cultures and differences of environment.

More and more Indonesia is becoming a very important commercial player in the world economy. Lots of Indonesian furniture and accessories have something to tell about their origin. With influences from Islamic countries, the Netherlands, India and many others colonies it has a wide range of roots from different places in this world.

Indonesia is a tropical country that lays right on the equator. Therefore the use of woods is so much different from any other Asian countries. Tropical woods like teak and mango wood are very commonly used. From ecological point of view mango wood is very environmentally friendly because it grows very rapidly. Nowadays sustainability is becoming very important, many factories only use wood from trees that have stopped producing.
